hi and thank you. this is a one owner car i am putting on eBay for my mechanic and friend. this volvo has a good carfax and clean title. mileage is accurate. i had the chance to drive this Volvo today and take the photos. on the highway and around town, it was a pleasure to be in and seen in !@! at 70 mph the car drives steady, smooth and quiet. stops with authority and steers well. all windows, gauges, and controls work properly. the previous owner seems to have just replaced the battery, belts, gaskets, plug wires, etc. motor is great and needs no repair. spare tire and jack are in the boot. 2 keys, floor mats, etc... all original. but, this is and older car and this is what i noticed: some minor wear issues in the drivers seat, leather show signs of being sat on over time and there is a small wear tear two inches long along the side of the seat near the recliner handle, spare tire has been used, right front tire is a mismatch, a/c blows warm, bumpers are fading some and the rear tail-lights are dullish. please see all photos carefully, i took every good and bad shot i could - its all there. please call or email me with any questions. my email is jbb1425@hotmail.com and my cell is 203.258.3356. just ask for jon or tony, happy to help. this veicle is located in naugatuck, CT 06770, just south of beautiful waterbury off scenic RT #8, about exit #28. no reserve, bid and buy - you all decide what it is worth. this car can be driven home, no known issues except as stated. YV1FA8849L3491288 On Sep-26-12 at 16:52:13 PDT, seller added the following information: ok, great... thank you for the kind emails and the phone call. this is what i can add. horn, wipers, lights, brakes, battery, radio, gauges all OK. on closer look, i did notice an exhaust noise, likely coming from a pipe or muffler; nothing offensive or distracting, but a leak of some sort. muffler repair or replacement may be something down the road, not around the corner. i do not have service records, but the carfax i ran shows dozens of service histories >>> the owner was a little service prone and seemed not to miss anything; just look under the hood and we can all see. the car was sold to my friend and mechanic (15 years and counting !!) at a private auction sale and was a family/estate donation car (i have all the records) and that it was a tax deduction deal for the family. very normal and i have seen this before. i say "one owner" because my information indicates this went from father to son, or some such thing. no, i am not an expert at all, but do tell it like it is. the car is sold "as is" simply due to the age of vehicle, simple. i am willing to arrange a preview or test drive and inspection for you at anytime should you be compelled. otherwise, bid and buy... should you examine the car and decline, no problem. deposits are refundable at that time, but are required after the sale ends (this is fair and normal, i checked withe eBay policy). OK, i think i covered it all. please keep in mind these cars, like this one, are few and far between. i watched eBay for a month and did the cars.com thing, too. i have yet to see another volvo this shape for sale and selling for no reserve. tony b.On Sep-27-12 at 08:18:37 PDT, seller added the following information: there is a scratch that i missed in yesterday owing to the weather- it's about mid door passenger front and continues passenger rear door and trails off a bit beyond that. it is not to the metal or anything, but it is visible as you approach the car to enter and you can feel it with your finger nail. i am told that buffing would help, but would not eliminate it entirely.
