This is a 1954 Mercury Monterey 2-door hardtop. This Merc is an old custom and has been in storage. Body is very straight and done in satin black with a white change of color pearl roof. I believe the motor is a 292 Ford/Mercury V-8 with automatic transmission and 69,838 miles on the odometer (not the original motor). Tires, wheels, including spare wheel, mufflers, tail pipes, shocks, brakes, new 3-core radiator, all hoses are all new parts. All bumpers and grill have been rechromed. Runs and shifts very good. Inner rockers are rusted as well as spare tire well. Body seems very solid; no rust on door bottoms. Minor things need repairing such as directional lights and radio; needs radio speakers. Car has been detrimmed of chrome; has a great custom look. Many extra parts in trunk such as new starter, new electric fuel pump, tune up parts, filters, chrome emblems, door handles and more. Blue and white interior and trim panels are very nice. Driver's side front seat needs some repair. Dash and all garnish moldings are very nice.
