New K&N Air Filter Partial Restoration as listed above to stock look! This Bike is in Great condition and looks great. It is not a fully restored Tim’s Bike, but it is really, really nice. A fully restored Tim’s Bike would cost you $16K, so this bike is a really good deal. If I was going to keep it, I would install a new reproduction exhaust. The gas tank has NO rust and has NOT been treated. This has the original 422 exhaust and although it looks great in the pictures, it has been patched underneath and the previous owner removed the baffles. Some people like the sound of it, but it isn’t for me. You can leave it like it is and it runs fine as is, but I don’t know how long the exhaust will last. The gauges and some of the other parts of the bike show the patina of the age of the bike. The frame has not been repainted or restored. This bike starts right up with one slight touch of the starter button and runs like a top. It handles like it should with no problems. The tires look new, but probably have been on the bike a while. So as you can see, there has been a lot of work to get this bike in the condition it is. It will turn heads wherever you go and solicit questions about the 6 cylinder. Like I have stated above, this is NOT a 100 point show bike, but it wouldn’t take too much work to get it looking perfect. It is an exceptional daily driver as it sits now. I am also including all the original parts that I had replaced(rotors, clutch discs/plate, cables, hoses, rubber, etc…, if you want them). Also, I am including a Minichamps 1979 Honda CBX in Candy Glory Red, Brand new(Very, Very Cool), Original Honda Factory CBX Service Manual, New Fuel Petcock(original is working fine), Copy of the Owner’s Manual, Various Period Motorcycle Magazines featuring the 1979 CBX, and other paperwork. I also have the original Title which I will included along with a Bill of Sale to the buyer. $500 Non-Refundable deposit must be paid via PayPal within 24 hours of auction end.
