Up for auction is a 1995 Mercedes C280 that was recently gifted to me by a friend and is being sold with NO RESERVE. The friend bought the car at auction and then had to move. They never drove the car nor worked on it and simply gave it to me as a gift in non working order. The vehicle is equipped with a 6cyl engine and AUTOMATIC transmission. The odometer shows 154,280 miles. It’s fairly well equipped with most of the options. The seats are TAN LEATHER clean with no tears or rips. The carpets have a few minor stains but are in good shape. The finish to the top of the center console is cracked and there are a few cracks in the faux wood trip across the dash. The dash is solid with no cracks. The steering leather wheel is a bit worn. There is a small upholster tear in the fabric cover to the center console. There is a very very small stone chip in the center of the windshield.The exterior of the car is BLUE and is for the most part in good condition with a solid shine. The rear passenger door has some dings in it, and the rear roof passenger side panel has some chipped paint. There are also some scuffs on the driver and passenger side of the front bumper. The wheels are in great shape and the tires appear to be brand new with at least 95% plus road life left. The tires are Bridgestone Potenza. Please refer to the photos included in this auction for more description details. ***The car does not start. I charged the battery and attempted to start the car and while it has spark and cranks and turns over, it will not catch. A mechanic friend looked at it and said the Fuel pump is working. He replaced the Crank Sensor and still nothing. It could be the OVP or the CamShaft Sensor or some other issue. No more time or money to figure it out, so I am selling it as is. ***The plastic housing to the radiator is cracked and needs to be replaced. The vehicle will need to be towed away by the buyer. PLEASE NOTE!!!!! I am not a mechanic and all I can convey is what I am able to observe. There may be other problems with the car that are not evident. Therefore, please bid accordingly. INFORMATION CONCERNING VEHICLE TITLE: This vehicle comes with a clear Virginia Title. The buyer has FULL RESPONSIBILITY on issues once the vehicle has left my premises.
