Vehicle Detail

This vehicle was purchased a few years ago from the cars first owner. The car was restored shortly after to it's present condition. The vehicle has significant rust underneath and the engine needs cleaning and a tune up. Engine dies at stops and stalls on occasion. Therefore I'm not listing it as driveable. I am not mechanically inclined and personal as well as financial circumstances have prevented me from completing restoration. The car sits in our driveway and we have no place to store it for the winter which is another reason we've decided to sell her. Rather than let her sit and watch the work I did rust away, I'd rather see her go to a good home where the restoration can be properly finished. Since applying the custom paint job a few years ago, there has been slight bubbling around the rear fender skirt and slight peeling on the trunk lid. Theres also a molding strip that needs replacement where the vynyl top meets the trunk. The engine runs, and sounds good considering it's been run very little over the past 5 years. I did the body work personally, and swear the body is solid and not packed with Bondo. The interior is beautiful - no tears or stains in the seats. Carpeting is also new, and the original Vynyl top is prestine. The original 302 engine has a mere 56k miles on it. The trunk is solid, no signs of rust on inside of rear fenders as pictured. Also included is a set of four collectable Ford Mustang hub caps that were once on this car when it was driven off the car lot more than 40 years ago. Also included is the original radio. I think I did a decent job with what restoring I was able to finish, but I wouldn't say it's showroom condition. It's a head turner for sure, but it will need a little work to go the extra mile. If you have the time and mechanical knowledge to finish restoration, the end result will be worth it. No Reserve. Buyer is responsible for shipping.
