Up for bid is a short bed 1972 Chevy truck. This truck was represented to me as an 86k orignal mile truck and appears correct. The 350 engine starts with just one pump and the turn of the key and transmission shifts out correctly. The original interior is in above average shape needing a dash pad and steering wheel. The truck can pretty much be driven anywhere, but i would not take off on an extended trip though. It does have rust in the typical places-cab corners,rockers,cab support,etc. I see nothing in the way of frame rust issues....just surface. The bed is quite straight,as is the rest of the truck,however,there are a few holes in the bed.The left bed side is the worst. It could be patched,but a bedside would be best. I believe the damage on the tailgate could be pulled and used.Tires are almost new. This is widely regarded as the best looking truck Chevy ever made, with prices up into the $30ks for the "right" truck. This truck can be driven as is or put through a full restoration.Original Protect-O-Plate and owners manual are included. I encourage anyone to come look before bidding. This is a factory two tone blue and white which is very desirable. All gauges work properly, new brakes, turn signals lights all work. Defrost and heater both work.
