Vehicle Detail
I have for sale my very rare survivor 1969 Mercury Cyclone CJ - Matching numbers 428 Cobra Jet motor with factory ram air and C6 Merc-O-Matic transmission with 3.00 non-Posi rear end. Factory AC, all original ZERO rust! Anywhere, I mean it... zero. This car was stored indoors for 30 some odds years. This is an excellent daily driver with a kick ass patina or the ultimate starting point for a concours restoration. Everything is original. Parts that I have replaced, like the radiator and wheels, I have kept the original parts. I have to original 14" Merc wheels that come with the car. Currently i have shod her with BF Goodrich G Force Radial cheater slicks out back in 275/60/15 on an 8' American Racing Torq Thrusts. The fronts are BF Goodrich TA Radials in P215/70/15 on 6" American Racing Torque Thrusts. Here is what I have done to make this a daily driver since I got her: New US Radiator stock replacement radiator, all hoses, new thermostat, new thermostat housing, back-flushed the block, reman power steering pump and new hoses, all new brakes all the way around including, disc, shoes, drums, lines and caliper rebuilds, new rectifier. I yarded the side pipes off that came with the car and had a stock replica exhaust installed with h pipe. Now she runs like a dream and growls just like she's supposed to. Rim Blow steering wheel horn work great. couple of little age dings and some right rear fender ripples. All of which can be seen in the photos. SkyJacker air shocks in the rear. Marti report included. I am only selling her because I'm looking for a 1958 Edsel Pacer or Ranger instead. I am only trying to get out of her what I paid for her - not what I put into her. Now, $500 deposit with 48 hours of end of auction. The rest within 7 days. If you do not have the money then please don't bid. I WILL NOT sell to overseas buyers so don't bother with asking please. Winner is solely responsible for pick up and shipping. I do not ship but I will be happy to take it to a freight depot in the greater Portland metro area for you. I have a clear Oregon title in my name. I also have it advertised for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Honestly, you're never gonna find a deal like this again so hop on it! I'm including a NOS three gauge cluster that matches the dash. I will gladly try to answer any questions you have before you bid. You can also get most of the info off the Marti report photo. Last time I'm gonna list it. if it doesn't sell I'm just gonna keep it. Good Luck!
