Vehicle Detail
Thanks for looking at my 1967 Ford F250 Step Side (Flare Side) Bed Truck. It has the original 300 cubic inch (4.9 liter) 6 cylinder engine and automatic transmission. Both have been rebuilt and work well, the bed still has the original wood (inlaid) mostly in good shape. This truck drives and rides well. Original interior (bucket seats are torn), and carpet, the truck has some rust (not a rust bucket). This was my late father-in law's truck he bought it new in 1967, he had extra parts; three extra wheels with the ten ply tires, 4 hub caps, and brake shoes (drum), these are included with the car. Highly optioned for a 1967 F250. Factory options include a 300 cubic inch in-line "straight" 6 cylinder (factory upgraded engine); Custom Cab (wider); Automatic Transmission; "Camper Special Edition" (upgraded suspension); Dual Gas Tanks; Flare Side (wheels wells are on the outside of truck, providing a full 4x8 foot bed), also know as step side since you have steps on each side of the bed; Bucket Seats; and Wooden In-laid planks (original from the factory) in the truck bed. Some information on the F250 5th generation below: (thanks for looking) In 1948, Ford introduced the first generation of the F-Series truck, which the company called the F2. Ford changed the name to the F250 in 1953 with the beginning of the second generation. The F-Series is a series of full-size pickup trucks from Ford Motor Company which has been sold continuously for over six decades. The fifth generation F250s, starting with the 1967 model, offered with a wider stance than the fourth generation trucks. The new '67 F-series trucks were redesigned to a squared-off look with the headlights worked into the rectangular grille. The parking lamps were located under the headlights. The interior increased in size and had more glass. Three trim levels (base, Custom Cab and Ranger) were offered. Other improvements of the '67 model included larger tires, a bigger clutch and a heavier, stronger frame permitting increased carrying capacity. The Ford 300 engine is 300-cubic-inches (4.9-liter) inline six-cylinder, that was first unveiled in 1965 and put to use mainly in light-duty trucks Bore diameter is 4.00 inches and stroke length is 3.98 inches. The 1967 engine used a one-barrel carburetor and an 8.0-to-1 compression ratio to produce 170 horsepower.
