It has 76,350 original miles. I have the original owner's manuals including both sets of “gold” keys. It features a number of options such as Cadillac’s famous 4-note trumpet horn (sounds like a freight train!!), AM/FM stereo & cassette, automatic climate control, cruise control, power windows and locks, dual power seats (including power recliners for both passenger and driver seats), power & heated mirrors, 3 speed wipers with intermittent control, automatic trunk release, factory fiber-optic headlight and taillight status indicators, and rear defrost. Overall the car is nice with some minor blemishes described below. The title is clear and has no liens. The mileage is listed as actual on the title. This is a very roomy and comfortable car, and one of the last years of the traditional full size Caddy’s…with the tried-and-true reliable 5.7 liter 350 Fuel Injected V-8 engine. Not many people realize that the 350 motor option came with a heavy duty package, which means it has heavy duty components – including heavy duty alternator, cooling, etc. A very durable and well-built chassis. Thankfully, there is NO hitch on this car so I assume it was never used for towing. The car runs and drives great and I’m sure it would go across country effortlessly. Exterior:The famous “Firemist Antelope” paint appears to be mostly original and is very shiny and brilliant. There are several places which had surface rust on the body (no rust holes thankfully) and were sanded down and touched up (see pictures). In certain light the touch up paint can be noticeable; in other light it’s not as noticeable. The chrome and stainless are very presentable and still shine well. The chrome on the bumpers and the rear tail fins look like new. The vinyl top should be replaced, though, due to cracks from the weather. For some reason both front doors have small dents which were not readily picked up by the camera. The underbody has surface rust from the typical PA winters but nonetheless is still solid and passed the PA state inspection without question. Other than the items mentioned, the exterior is in nice condition overall, and body is solid. Interior:The interior is in very nice shape. The velour seats are very comfy. The car belonged to a non-smoker. The carpets are clean and in nice shape. Even the factory floor mats are decent for the age; however the driver’s side floor mat is missing. The headliner is also in great shape. The dash has NO cracks and is in excellent shape. Same with the door panels….beautiful! The power equipment goodies work except for the power antenna, and for some reason, the driver’s side electric door lock switch does not work. Also, the passenger door does not lock. Everything else works great, including the automatic climate control (A/C still has R-12 and works well) power mirrors, seats, automatic locks, cruise, cassette, remote trunk lid, etc. I should mention the odometer tracks the mileage fine but does not always display it properly. Sometimes it says “error” and then it goes through a gyration of numbers before it settles back to the actual mileage. As stated earlier, the mileage is indicated on the title and I have no doubt as to its authenticity; and I have confidence the odometer continues to track the appropriate mileage despite its erratic behavior. The rest of the LED cluster is fine without issue. Mechanical:The motor purrs like a kitten and is extremely smooth. The motor is the optional factory 350 5.7 Fuel injected V-8. It has plenty of power and torque and climbs the hills well. It cruises at highway speeds effortlessly. The transmission is the heavy-duty 700R4 which should last a long time. The steering is tight (for a Cadillac) and the brakes stop smoothly. My mechanic recently changed the serpentine belt, oil and oil filter, and had the hoses inspected. The rear air shocks are brand new. 3 of the 4 tires are older and are OK for around town, but I would recommend replacing for a long trip. 1 of the tires was just replaced this summer. The car runs nice and should go anywhere. It passed the rigorous PA safety inspection and is valid through January 2013. The garage floor is mostly dry underneath the car. Occasionally I might find a single drip of tranny fluid under the radiator where the tranny line goes into the radiator; however I just tightened the line today so that may eliminate the drip altogether. Otherwise, there are no leaks. Engine runs smooth and very powerful/responsive. Does not burn oil in the time I’ve driven it. A/C still blows cold; the compressor is a little noisy but does not seem to affect the performance of the A/C system. Mechanically, I’m not aware of anything needed. Overall:If you are looking for a reasonably priced original example of the last of the traditional full size Fleetwood Brougham’s, this one is for you. You may notice some of the Fleetwoods on eBay go for big bucks, usually because they are extremely low-mileage examples. Although 76,350 miles is still pretty low mileage, I have priced this baby to sell. In my opinion, it would not take much work to show. It’s a NICE driver car and certainly worthy of keeping in a garage. If I were to keep I would invest the money and replace the vinyl top. I have a local shop that quoted $800 total. I would not be afraid to drive this car across the country. It runs and drives excellent and will make a very nice classic for you. I have sold several cars on eBay and in all situations I have had positive feedback. I attempt to describe each vehicle as accurately and honestly as possible and I do not think you will be disappointed. As with anything, if you desire to bid on the vehicle, I would encourage you to see it physically and drive it for yourself before you bid. If you get the winning bid and are not completely satisfied upon your physical inspection, you can walk away from the vehicle, less $100 of your deposit (to pay for the cost of having to relist on eBay). 1991 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham / 76,350 orig miles / 5.7 Fuel Injected
You are viewing a beautiful 1991 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham. It has 76,350 original miles. I have the original owner's manuals including both sets of “gold” keys. It features a number of options such as Cadillac’s famous 4-note trumpet horn (sounds like a freight train!!), AM/FM stereo & cassette, automatic climate control, cruise control, power windows and locks, dual power seats (including power recliners for both passenger and driver seats), power & heated mirrors, 3 speed wipers with intermittent control, automatic trunk release, factory fiber-optic headlight and taillight status indicators, and rear defrost. Overall the car is nice with some minor blemishes described below. The title is clear and has no liens. The mileage is listed as actual on the title. This is a very roomy and comfortable car, and one of the last years of the traditional full size Caddy’s…with the tried-and-true reliable 5.7 liter 350 Fuel Injected V-8 engine. Not many people realize that the 350 motor option came with a heavy duty package, which means it has heavy duty components – including heavy duty alternator, cooling, etc. A very durable and well-built chassis. Thankfully, there is NO hitch on this car so I assume it was never used for towing. The car runs and drives great and I’m sure it would go across country effortlessly.
Exterior:
The famous “Firemist Antelope” paint appears to be mostly original and is very shiny and brilliant. There are several places which had surface rust on the body (no rust holes thankfully) and were sanded down and touched up (see pictures). In certain light the touch up paint can be noticeable; in other light it’s not as noticeable. The chrome and stainless are very presentable and still shine well. The chrome on the bumpers and the rear tail fins look like new. The vinyl top should be replaced, though, due to cracks from the weather. For some reason both front doors have small dents which were not readily picked up by the camera. The underbody has surface rust from the typical PA winters but nonetheless is still solid and passed the PA state inspection without question. Other than the items mentioned, the exterior is in nice condition overall, and body is solid.
Interior:
The interior is in very nice shape. The velour seats are very comfy. The car belonged to a non-smoker. The carpets are clean and in nice shape. Even the factory floor mats are decent for the age; however the driver’s side floor mat is missing. The headliner is also in great shape. The dash has NO cracks and is in excellent shape. Same with the door panels….beautiful! The power equipment goodies work except for the power antenna, and for some reason, the driver’s side electric door lock switch does not work. Also, the passenger door does not lock. Everything else works great, including the automatic climate control (A/C still has R-12 and works well) power mirrors, seats, automatic locks, cruise, cassette, remote trunk lid, etc. I should mention the odometer tracks the mileage fine but does not always display it properly. Sometimes it says “error” and then it goes through a gyration of numbers before it settles back to the actual mileage. As stated earlier, the mileage is indicated on the title and I have no doubt as to its authenticity; and I have confidence the odometer continues to track the appropriate mileage despite its erratic behavior. The rest of the LED cluster is fine without issue.
Mechanical:
The motor purrs like a kitten and is extremely smooth. The motor is the optional factory 350 5.7 Fuel injected V-8. It has plenty of power and torque and climbs the hills well. It cruises at highway speeds effortlessly. The transmission is the heavy-duty 700R4 which should last a long time. The steering is tight (for a Cadillac) and the brakes stop smoothly. My mechanic recently changed the serpentine belt, oil and oil filter, and had the hoses inspected. The rear air shocks are brand new. 3 of the 4 tires are older and are OK for around town, but I would recommend replacing for a long trip. 1 of the tires was just replaced this summer. The car runs nice and should go anywhere. It passed the rigorous PA safety inspection and is valid through January 2013. The garage floor is mostly dry underneath the car. Occasionally I might find a single drip of tranny fluid under the radiator where the tranny line goes into the radiator; however I just tightened the line today so that may eliminate the drip altogether. Otherwise, there are no leaks. Engine runs smooth and very powerful/responsive. Does not burn oil in the time I’ve driven it. A/C still blows cold; the compressor is a little noisy but does not seem to affect the performance of the A/C system. Mechanically, I’m not aware of anything needed.
Overall:
If you are looking for a reasonably priced original example of the last of the traditional full size Fleetwood Brougham’s, this one is for you. You may notice some of the Fleetwoods on eBay go for big bucks, usually because they are extremely low-mileage examples. Although 76,350 miles is still pretty low mileage, I have priced this baby to sell. In my opinion, it would not take much work to show. It’s a NICE driver car and certainly worthy of keeping in a garage. If I were to keep I would invest the money and replace the vinyl top. I have a local shop that quoted $800 total. I would not be afraid to drive this car across the country. It runs and drives excellent and will make a very nice classic for you. I have sold several cars on eBay and in all situations I have had positive feedback. I attempt to describe each vehicle as accurately and honestly as possible and I do not think you will be disappointed. As with anything, if you desire to bid on the vehicle, I would encourage you to see it physically and drive it for yourself before you bid. If you get the winning bid and are not completely satisfied upon your physical inspection, you can walk away from the vehicle, less $100 of your deposit (to pay for the cost of having to relist on eBay).
