Vehicle Detail
Here is the Chevrolet Caprice Classic (the luxury version of the Impala), that you have been waiting for. It's a 1992 with a 305CI V-8 engine ( I am pretty sure it is the 305 V8, but I can check if you are interested), with 85,000 original miles. My 82 year old Father is the third owner and he has owned it for about 13 years It has never been in an accident and is still all original It has full power, alloy wheels and is in good overall condition for a 20 year old vehicle. I am selling it for him as he can't drive it anymore due to medical reasons. Great car to use as a daily driver or fix up for car shows or cruise nights! Any questions let me know and thanks for your interest. I AM RELISTING DUE TO A BIDDER THAT DID NOT SHOW OR PAY! PLEASE DON"T BID IF YOU DON"T PLAN ON GOING THROUGH WITH THE TRANSACTION. On Sep-06-12 at 07:56:16 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been getting a lot of e-mails/calls asking for additional information on the car so in the hope of keeping everyone interested informed, here is some additional details after talking with my father. The motor and transmission work well. It past inspection a couple of months ago. The tires and brakes are good, The interior seat are real good (leather), The horn isn't currently working (Maybe a fuse - don't know) The drivers side power window is lazy or doesn't work. Please understand even thought this car has very low actual mileage it is still 20 years old. I believe with a nice cleaning and some minor work you will have a good dependable car that will run for a long time but it's not a new car so don't expect it to be. At the current bid price some people pay more for an oil change than this whole car costs LOL - (I'm talking about Ferrari's and Maserati's of course!) Bottom line is this is a nice car for it's age. You can use it as is or fix it up. My father has been very happy with the car over the years and really doesn't want to sell it but the family convinced him to being it sits at the house most of the time. On Sep-06-12 at 09:45:51 PDT, seller added the following information: Air conditioning was working fine at the beginning of the summer but Dad now states it doesn't get as cold as it used to. Probably just needs some additional Freon. I have added some additional pictures as requested. I have a couple of others if you want to see them please send me your e-mail address. I looked over the car for rust and here is what I found - two pin size marks on the hood, some of the paint on the mirror on the drivers side is pealing off. One small rust mark (about 1/4 the size of a dime). I also notices a small crease on the bottom of the rear fender behind the passenger wheel about 10 - 12 inches. It didn't effect the paint but if you look closely you can see it.(i have a picture of this). Hope that this additonal information helps some of you make your bidding decisions. The last auction ended over $2,100, I hope whoever wins this time is real and finalizes the transaction. Thanks John
