This beautiful vehicle is a 1952 MGTD Replica. It was professionally constructed in 1985 by Classic Motor Carriages. The engine is a front engine 2.3 liter 4-cylinder Ford Pinto on a Ford Chassis. I Bought it from a collector in 2010 and only drove it to car shows and for leisure use. Everything under the hood is in perfect mechanical condition: New fuel pump; radiatior core; upper and lower radiator hoses; water pump; carburator; distributor; timing belt; starter; brakes; muffler; strut rod bushings; rebuilt head; rebuilt shifter; heater hoses; battery; master cylinder; shocks; other minor maintenance items too numerous to mention. I am a fanatic about keeping vehicles in perfect running condition and this gem is no exception. The unique aspect of this vehicle is that it has an automatic transmission with overdrive! The exterior is in excellent condition with a few very minor scratches. The carpet has some fading in the front from exposure to the sun, but can easily be replaced. I removed the outdated cassette player when the wooden dash was removed for refinishing. The car comes with top, side curtains, top boot, zippered tonneau cover; tilt seats; chrome headlights; 4 grille badges; 5 chrome rims with wire baskets (expensive). When I purchased it, the car had an engraved plate on the wood dash that read, "Made in Disneyland for Mickey Mouse". It was used in many parades and events down Mainstreet in Disneyland. This vehicle is a real "head turner". I would keep it forever, but I have developed a medical condition that prevents me from being exposed to the sun. I will be sad to see it go, but very happy for the lucky buyer!
