Vehicle Detail
1972 Mercedes 250C coupe. Rare air conditioning / AC car with roll up windows. Runs and drives, but is beginning to have a knock. Body is in good condition with no accidents. Original light blue color. Interior is in nice shape except drivers seat is ripped on the top left, door panel pockets are missing. Front grille is nice as well as the headlights and original fog lights. I had the hood open in the photo so it looks like the front has damage but it does NOT. The front bumper is turned up on the drivers side but this is a bent bumper bracket, there is no body damage, someone tried to jack up the car by the bumper- fools. All original Sekurit german glass. Original blue California plates. Trunk in good shape, with original trunk mat and spare tire. Good original matching hub caps. Nice complete 250C for little money. Fix the original matching number engine that is in it, or find a wrecked 250 either sedan or coupe and put that motor in it. I do not recommend picking this car up and driving it home. Its smarter to have it towed in case the engine decides to fail then the cost of rebuilding it will be far more than just fixing the problem now. You are welcome to come inspect the car. It is located in San Fernando California. Ebay does not offer a bill of sale option when creating an ad so I had to click on "clear title". This car is sold on a bill of sale only, as the title was lost, and if you have the lost title transfer form from the DMV ( if you are in California ) I can fill that out and have it signed as well if you need it.On Sep-19-12 at 10:55:13 PDT, seller added the following information: I found a decal in the upper section of the windshield from 1972. It was a street parking permit for the month of December in Italy, so this car appears to have been in Italy when new. Perhaps it was a European model which was federalized ( put into US spec trim ) when it was shipped to the US. There is also the Germany phone number for emergency roadside repair in the glove box. This sticker was only put in the European cars!
