1974 BMW 3.0 CS, Nacht Blau Metallic with Saddle interior I purchased this car in spring 2010 and have since driven it less than 300 miles. It has been in covered storage under my ownership, has never seen rain and minimal sunlight only when I drove it. I bought this car from a coast guard in Florida. I’m not a wheeler dealer and not selling for financial reasons. I am just a pure enthusiast passing my CS to another who will use and enjoy it, not make it a garage queen like have. This is the third CS I have owned and still have a 2002. Just last month I sold my Bavaria. I know these cars, the problems they have, especially when it comes to rust. I don’t think you will be able find a nicer CS. In the past year, I have spend a lot of money making everything about this car top drawer. New front and rear Bilstein shocks, new suspension components, and new Burlwood interior trim by Maderna Concepts installed. Steering wheel was re-wrapped in Nappa leather with tri-color ///M stitching. It is all original expect for the wood trim and steering wheel stitching. These were subtle touches that I felt really made this car unique and gave the interior a fresh, more expensive look. Complete new A/C system (compressor, dryer, fan, lines, etc) Exterior: Paint is shiny, no rust bubbles anywhere. Underside is rust free, front and rear shock towers are perfect condition, side rockers are mint. Chrome trim is shiny. All exterior BMW emblems are new. All electrical systems were addressed and everything is working as it should. The wipers, exterior lights, horn, radio, windows, sunroof, A/C, heat, blinkers, defrost, dome lights, etc all work, no issues. Mechanically this car is perfect, nothing needs to be done. All fluids and filters were changed every six months and were replaced again just last week. Brakes are very good and suspension is smooth. Clutch grabs strong and shifts through the gears flawlessly. Toolkit in trunk is complete with no missing tools. The front seat belts retract slowly and I have new ones in the trunk. The new owner can replace those or if I have time I will at the buyers request. The new replacements from Germany were a little different, so its probably best to let the new owner decide whichever he prefers. Car is available for viewing only on weekends. Selling as-is.
