67 Black Bomber. Starts and runs nice. Carbs just cleaned by professional mechanic. . . The title says it was last licensed in 88. Other things to note are,,,,,,front brake cable is bad.The handlebar switches are empty.No idea where that stuff went. Easy to replace. The ignition cover leaks a little oil. The seat has a small tear in it (see pic) The tires are roached and the speedo is broken so the milage is suspect and both rear shocks are blown out. There is no starter button but if I jumped the solenoid the starter works. The gas tank has just been sealed with Caswell's Epoxy Gas Tank sealer. It didn't leak but there was rust so it was cleaned out and sealed.This sealer is the best on the market today and according to tests conducted by Classic Bike Magazine it's the only one that really works with todays crap gas. Starts first kick cold or warm.Trans works great and it's pretty zippy for a 45 year old 450. This is a great one for cafe conversion or to tun into an Ahrma racer. It also would be a good candidate for a restoration as it's almost all there and the stuff that is needed is all on ebay. Brand new battery. Charging system tests fine. The exhaust was hacksaw off at the front of the muffler. I have removed one muffler so you can see how it looks. If I was keeping it I would splice it with a chunk of tubing that fit in the ID and then weld it up. The mufflers are a little rough with dents and acid stains.(what is the deal with these old UJMs? Did everybody route the battery vent tube directly on the muffler? ) any way they would work great for a rider and new replacements are available.
