I purchased this car approximately three years ago. At that point, it was a project that was 90% complete; it had just received a fresh paint job and was mostly reassembled. I completed the restoration with a little bit of detail work, and a fair amount of interior work. The Mach 1 is currently in great running/driving/showing condition and aside from a few small miscellaneous items, does not need anything. The paint/body is in nice shape and shows well, I get compliments every single time that I take the car out. I would rate the paint and bodywork at a 7.5 out of 10, although I am much pickier than most people. There are a few small blemishes, most of which are not very noticeable unless they are pointed out. I've taken many close-up pictures to try to show the imperfections. This car has had very little metal-work, even the full floor pan is original to the car and still in pretty decent shape; it still has the original undercoating in place. The interior also shows very well, and the carpet, seat upholstery, and door panels are all new. The engine and transmission are in great shape and the car drives very well. It has been driven occasionally every summer, and started and warmed up regularly during winter. Since the restoration, I would estimate that this Mustang has only been driven about 500-800 miles. This is truly a fantastic Mustang, and I hate to see it go. I have tried my best to accurately describe this car, and I've taken a ton of pictures to show it's condition, however, I still recommend that interested parties come see the car in person.
