Vehicle Detail
Here is a chance to bid on a rare 1990 ZR-1 that is in great mechanical and cosmetic condition with clean history and title. This car is # 1191, and I purchased it a year and a half ago from Arizona, and had it shipped to me in NJ in an enclosed trailer. The car was in great condition, but my goal was to make it perfect. Few months and $4000 later I’ve achieved my goal and have been enjoying it ever since on weekends and local car shows. If you're looking at this auction, hopefully you know a little about the "King of the Hill". The history of the development is fascinating, and technology and performance are still impressive after 22 years. There is no doubt that this car is a corvette classic and a legend by now. And, there is evidence that they've alaready bottomed out and are appreciating in value these past 2-3 years. So here is your chance to own a beautiful performance car, take it to shows, and still know that your investment will appreciate with years to come. Though I absolutely love this car and enjoy driving it very much, I decided to part with it since I have a "bucket list" of cars I'd like to go through, and it's time for me to move on to my next car and project. It’s red with tan interior and has only 35k original miles. I have receipts in a folder with everything that's been done to it in the past year to make it perfect. It even comes with the original "Owners Kit" which includes a book about the development of ZR-1, a video tape, some other books, and a brass ZR-1 key chain. This owners kit is very hard to come by and in good condition goes for $500-$800 by itself. Mine is in excellent condition. The car also comes with two tops, body colored red solid top, and a glass top with leather cover, both in great condition. The car is stock with the exception of SLP Triple Intake, long tube headers w/ high flow cats, and a cat back Flowmaster exhaust that sounds absolutely amazing. I was told that with this set up, the horsepower is at around 430hp vs. 375hp stock. Everything in the car is operational to the best of my knowledge. Even the Bose radio and CD player and all speaker/amplifiers work. These are notorious for having problems. The car is overall in great condition with minimal wear to exterior and interior. The is a little wear to driver side seat bolster. The exterior paint is original and very shiny as you can see in the pictures. Even the wheel wells and undercarriage are clean. The pictures tell the rest of the story. Here’s what’s been done within the past couple of thousand miles and 12 months: New brake rotors and pads on all 4 corners Valvoline Synthetic Brake fluid flush/refill New original Adjustable Bilstein Shocks and bushings 16 new fuel injectors New rubber seals and gaskets on top end New serpentine belt New Nitto NT 05 tires, 275/40-17 front and 315/35-17 rear Mobil 1 Synthetic Differential Fluid change Amsoil Synthetic Oil change with Bosch oil filter, done last month and less than 100 miles ago. This oil is recommended for its high zinc content that’s good for flat tappets in the LT5 engines, and is good for 12 months. Some other smaller odds and ends to make sure everything’s up to spec. Good luck bidding, and please feel free to contact me with any questions. I haave the title on hand. I can be rached on my cell at 856-465-6869.
