Vehicle Detail
Hello, Up for sale we have a 2002 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck equipped with 4x4 and an extra cab. It has a 4.3L V6 engine. I purchased it in November 2011. I haven't used it too much since purchasing it but I have gotten new tires for it which have under 2,000 miles on them (cost ~$600) and a bedliner. It has low mileage (which will be slightly higher than listed because it is still being used). It runs great and looks pretty good! Passed NY state inspection with no issues at all. It has 4x4 with electronic push-button dash controls. It also has an extended cab with 3 doors and a rear jump seat. Its exterior has original metallic blue paint which is shiny, but not perfect. Overall, the truck is clean but it has scratches and dings as you can see in the pictures. It has been used as a truck (home depot runs, etc, but no commercial work). Some dents were repaired by the previous owner upon my request when I purchased it because it had dents that he didn't mention and the pictures he used didn't show any dents at all. If you'd like, come inspect it prior to bidding. Its interior is very clean and it's a non-smoker. It has bucket seats with a center console/armrest which is very convenient. One of the speaker grilles on the dash is cracked. It has: -Factory stereo with in-dash CD player -Power windows -Power Locks -Power mirrors (which are heated, as well!) -Remote start (aftermarket, works great!) -Automatic transmission -Automatic headlights -Automatic dimming rear-view mirror -Wheels are original GM 16" from a 2002 Camaro. The truck is dependable and easy to drive. It is a capable hauler with eenough bed space to handle most household jobs, from lumber and appliances to firewood, yet it is compact enough to drive daily. The bad: Dents/scratches scattered around truck, as pictured. Currently it does not have a working A/C but a new A/C compressor will be included in the sale. If you have any questions, please ask prior to bidding and I'll answer to the best of my ability. Truck is being sold as-is and it is the buyers responsibility to arrange shipping if it is necessary. It can be picked up in Thornwood, NY. Truck is also being sold locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Thank you very much and good luck! Don't forget to check out my other auctions. On Sep-17-12 at 09:56:45 PDT, seller added the following information: EDIT: I'd like to point out and explain the reason why Autocheck says there is a title issue with the truck. As you can see, it says that it "exceeds mechanical limits" which is actually incorrect. The odometer has not exceeded the mechanical limit. The reason why it says this is because when I registered the truck, I was not familiar with NJ titles and I accidentally ended up marking an "X" on "Exceeding Mechanical Limits." I was told by the Department of Motor Vehicles that I could have resolved this by getting a duplicate title but that it would've taken about a month. Since I really needed the truck and was planning to keep it forever, I decided not to wait and let that show up on the title. There is no odometer issue with the truck although Autocheck says there is. What is shown is the actual mileage of the truck and I do have the paperwork to prove it. Thank you!On Sep-18-12 at 16:15:26 PDT, seller added the following information: EDIT: I forgot to mention that the truck's speedometer reads slightly slower than it is actually travelling. This is due to the oversized tires that I purchased for it. Just wanted to point that out. Thank you!
