Vehicle Detail
Well it is time to sell my Thelma and Louise car. I bought another toy and the garage is full. I hate to part with her as she loves to get out and spin around town but I'm sure her new owner will treat her just as well. Here is the good, bad, and the ugly: Ugly - nothing, one cool car Bad - No top, they are 300 bucks and easy to put on as ALL the hardware is there. We just didn't get off our duffs and do it. Air conditioning belt was removed when we bought it and never replaced. We bought it to drive it with the top down and no air! DUH! Trunk pan under spare tire has 3 small rust holes balance of trunk is rust free. Small bubbles starting to appear in lower front door panels (usual spot for these cars) Front drivers side seat is torn. See pictures Dash is cracked as this was a very common problem on all these cars. Good - Original interior except the radio. Radio is after market. Nice white paint job for a driver. Car was originally blue but later she decided she looked better in white. Near brand new tires. Cragar wheels that spice her up nice. Starts, shifts, and drives like a dream. Feels like floating on a cloud going 70 down the interstate! All trim is present and in good to excellent condition. Bumpers are perfect with no dents or dings All glass is undamaged. All gauges on the instrument panel function correctly. Just this summer new battery and alternator. New carburetor last summer. Smoking HOT personalized dash skirt! Coolest convertible top bonnet you will ever see. Looks like she's bound for Vegas baby!! She turns heads everywhere she goes and is proud of it. We have several classics and she gets the most attention while out running around! She knows the way to most Bloody Mary bars in central Iowa! She will start and drive anywhere and is very fun to drive. And she is roomy enough to pile in 5 of your crazy friends. You won't be disappointed if you decide to take her home. Bid away. But please don't bid if you don't intend on really buying her. That's BS and a waste of everyone's time. The reserve is $6000. Also she if for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time before the reserve is met.
