Relisting due to DB bidder....Once again up for auction is my personal 2008 Honda XR650L. I purchased this on August the 11th 2008. I had spine surgery last year and am getting away from the bikes, as they are very painful to ride anymore. I purchased this as a commuter and it has never been in the dirt or sand. This bike has never been dropped or laid over...not a scratch! I did make some improvements for commuting or other uses. I installed an Acerbis front fender that has vents that allow better cooling air flow at highway speed. I installed a powder-coated rack and panniers to protect the body work from the soft saddle bags(included). There have been no mods to the engine, carb or any performance mods at all. Oil and filter was first changed at 1,010 miles and has been running Amsiol full synthetic since. Second oil change was at 2,986 miles(valves also lashed at this time). Oil analysis was completed by Blackstone Labs. All within limits for a new engine...as expected. Bike is a blast to ride. Very high seating makes you very visible to the normally less than aware drivers....red also stands out. If I could I would take this bike on a cross country trip with zero reservations. Included is a softback copy of the factory service manual. I just put a fresh AGM battery in from NAPA(have reciept). Buyer is responsible for shipping or pick-up. Have title in hand clear and free. $100 dollars due at end of auction and remainder before Title transfer.
