1963 Poesche 356 SC We are proud to offer this beautiful 1963 Porsche 356 SC for sale. Finished in original Ruby Red (code 6402) with black interior this car is elegant, sporty and very classic. Engine is a flat 4 Porsche 1582cc # 1283201 borrowed from a later 1968 Porsche 912 producing close to 100bhp and maintaining similiar specs as the SC original engine. This is a non matching number car, but according to some knowledge people, is era correct and should not affect much its value. Having said so, engine is in great shape with lots of go! Transmission is standard 4 speed and shifts fine. Body has gone through a complete professional restoration process taken to bare metal and then painted to original ruby red color. Some photos look a little more redish than it actually looks. Interior has new carpets, new headliner, new seat covers and looks pretty original and nice. All gauges work but the clock. Production of this car dates to August 1963 making it an early production 64 model, but the title reads 1963. This registration error was something very common for those days. Car has a clean title. Inspections are more than welcome by appointment only. Zero feedback bidders need to contact us before bidding. Car is listed locally, so we reserve the right to end the auction early. Car is sold as is. A $199 document fee will be added to the winning bid. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pick up, but we can help with arrangements and/or quotes to ship anywhere in the world.
