Vehicle Detail
First of all I love this car-it was amazing to cruise around in for me and my wife, but as we have added to our family I cannot cruise in the car unless I go everywhere by myself. This car has never seen water, not a sprinkle-I have only used wipes and detailing spray when I wanted to clean it, and if there was a chance for rain it did not leave the garage. The flat black paint and use of black in certain areas of the motor allow me to cruise all day and not have to worry about constantly polishing chrome in order to clean it up for presentation. This is a 2007 T-Bucket kit car that was completed in 2009, it has only had 2482 miles put on it since being completed. The drivetrain features a 289 and C4 transmission from a 65 mustang, both were gone through and are working flawlessly. The rearend is a late 1950's GM rearend. The rear tires are Mickey Thompson 31x18.50-15LT. The car is very quick, but was not built to do wheelies like some of these cars with blowers that pop the front tries off the ground through 3 gears. The car can be made to launch much faster with a higher gear ratio, but I find the car to be a lot more fun to cruise in and enjoy the way it is, it cruises the freeway as easily as it does your local hang outs. The windshield can be folded in two with very little effort, for the times you want to feel the wind in your face and want more of a hot rod look. When the windshield is completely up it will block the wind from getting in your eyes, I am 6'4" and it was tall enough for me. The car does not have a removable top, I never wanted the snaps on the car, I didnt need a roof-I only took the car out in fair weather. These detachable roofs can be added to these vehicles if you want to. The skull on the front of the car is wired to light up when the lights are turned on, and the car does have high beams. The Ford light in the back of the car is a brilliant blue, it turns red when the brakes are applied. The crosses are the main rear brake lights as well as turn signals. The small yellow running lights in the front of the car act as the front turn signals. The title for this car is a regular Michigan title and states it is a 2007 Assembled Roadster. The car is insured through Hagerty insurance and I only pay around $400 a year for full coverage. I hope that whoever purchases this car takes care of it in the manor I did-I know you will enjoy it. Serious buyers may contact me at jgrech8@gmail.com. Vehicle is available for personal inspection, please email for appointment. The miles could go up slightly due to me meeting people for viewings. I reserve the right to end auction early if car is sold locally.
