Chrysler Historical states that there were (503) 1969 Dodge Daytonas ordered and shipped to dealers in the United States. As of today there are (322) known to exist. This vehicle has another quality which is, only (10) vehicles left the factory with the F8 exterior color. This is a complete restoration. This vehicle is powered by a date coded, and period correct 440-ci 375hp V8. The 727 TorqueFlite handles the shifting , and a Dana rear end puts the power to the ground. Both Daytonas and Superbirds are rare, as they were somewhat outlawed by NASCAR due to rule changes in 1971. The Daytona was produced in far fewer numbers making it a lot more difficult to come by.
