This auction is for a 1987 Ford F-350 rollback. It looks alright and does the job for those on a cheaper budget to haul cars or do whatever with. I have used it several times without a problem, does the trick well the way it sits.Please note it does need to some work to be perfect, but again I used it as is and it does great!!!The truck has a 6.9 diesel engine which seems to run good, always starts without a problem. It does leak some oil but who knows how many miles are on it or what. The engine does have new glowplugs, new glowplug solenoid as well as voltage regulator and big radiator. The tranny is a 4speed which hits all gears fine, has a PTO for the working winch and bed etc etc. The tranny pops out of 3rd if coming down a hill using gear to slowdown, but hits gears fine. One time I had a problem getting gears like clutch inop, then I used it the next week and never had a problem, still no problem to this day, It was odd I must say. the truck is loud, muffler has some holes in it.The body on the truck is a 20 footer, was painted as the last company that used it had all there insignia plastered on it. The truck has rust behind cab and corners, doors are solid as well as fenders. So up close paint is shoddyThe interior is in overall good shape, speedo doesnt work, glowplug light and abs light go on and off, fuel gauge goofed up, but the temp and battery gauges work. The radio is junk and wipers are inoperable. The blinker switch needs to be held to blink left, to turn right it does its magic.The aluminum JERR DANN bed is 17.5 ft and works great as well as the winch. Just push in the clutch, pull up on the pto lever and she is ready to do her magic. The stinger is there, but guess what, its not hooked up and dont know if it works either. The hydraulics work well, some lines have couple leaks at the o-rings and do drip when in use. The tires are all good, has them mounted and balanced 3 months ago.Ebrake is not hooked up, we use hunks of wood before and after wheels, works fine for us.This truck is for sale as is, I dont think she is a piece of gold, but the bed alone is worth $2000, so thats what the bid will start at. The rest of the truck does run and drive so it must have some value.This truck needs alot of little things to make it great, but it does good the way it is as well.I will accept a reasonable offer on truck, I dont care if it sells either, it doesnt cost me anything but fuel to go get a car.A non-refundable deposit via paypal due at auction end within 24hrs or terms of deal terminate.
