Up for sale is my garage kept adult owned 2002 400 EX in great condition. I have never had any isssues with it and it has givin me years of trouble free riding. I change the oil and filter with genuine Honda parts. I just changed the oil filter, oil, spark plug and I cleaned the air filter. It's ready to run. I also have another oil filter and spark plug to give the new owner for future service. This ATV has been well maintained since day one and it is still in great shape. It is an ATV so it has its scratches and scuff marks as you would expect along with some dings in the front bumper and underside. The tires both front and rear are the ORIGINAL tires that came on the ATV. The rear tires are low of tread and should be replaced in the next couple of months. Engine The 400EX features a low-emission, high-performance engine. The four-stroke, single-cylinder 397 cc engine is dry-sump air-cooled with a radial four-valve combustion chamber and camshaft timing designed specifically for ATV torque and horsepower requirements. Fuel is delivered via a 35.5 mm piston-valve carburetor with accelerator pump, which gives maximum power through enhanced throttle response. The five-speed manual transmission with heavy-duty 2 mm clutch plates ensures a sporty ride that will stand up to the heavy demands of ATV use. Chassis Weighing 375 pounds, the 400EX has a round-tube steel frame that is lightweight, durable and strong. It offers independent, double-wishbone front suspension with 8.2 inches of travel from twin Showa shock absorbers with five-position adjustable spring preload. The rear suspension features a Pro-link fully adjustable, large-diameter, aluminum-body piggyback Showa shock absorber, providing 9.1 inches of travel. Dual hydraulic 174 mm disc brakes on the front and single 220 mm disc brakes on the rear provide exceptional stopping power.
