1970 TORONADO 455 -- 70 Toronado 52,000 miles on odometer 455 motor + automatic transmission ---- runs & drives just fine around the block although rear brakes feel like they are dragging + "brake lite" comes on when pedal fully depressed. --- may need new master cylinder ??? 52,000 miles appears to be original ....but cannot be verified. Although seats ,headliner,etc. are all in original to car. ------ No cracks on dash. ORIGINAL CA. BLUE PLATE CAR ----- = No Rust we can find. Rare custom wheels seldom seen on these car and can be very valuable $$$$$$$ Could be a really cool "CUSTOM CAR" with just a few touches !! ---- Who else has a 455/375hp Powerhouse ? Toronado is in orig. conditon with orig paint + interior. 455 motor runs strong & is powerful !! --- Transmission does shift & drive normally Transmission fluid appears to be contaminated as she looks more "pink" then rich deep red. ---- may need to be power flushed ? Front windows not working ----- rear two are working just fine. I have a clear ca. title in hand + ca lien sale papers ---- as far as I can tell the orig owner was paid off by the insurance company & car is in process of being labeled "salvage". --- But as stated we have clear ca. title in hand. any questions ??? Also the entry point on driver seat has split the seams and is perfectly usable but not show quality. The rest of the inside is better than you would imagine. Happy times !
