Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Classic 1987 Mercedes 190E 2.3-16 Cosworth Up for sale is a special 1987 Mercedes Benz 190E 2.3-16 Cosworth with low mileage and vivid history. The car belonged to the Automobile Magazine editor Jason Camissa and was the Magazine’s feature in 2008 February issue. http://www.automobilemag.com/features/great_drives/0702_1988_bmw_m3_vs_1987_mercedes_benz_190e_23_16/viewall.html The car looks clean and feel and drive like a low mileage 16V. The motor is strong and the 5 speed dog-leg shifts smoothly. The interior is very clean and no wear on the leather. All original paint except the grill and hood resprayed to the body color code 199. The Evo II wheels condition is 9/10 paid $1950 for them. I will include 4 Pilot Sport All Season 235/40/ZR17’s . I paid $10,500 in 2008 for this clean stock car. I was planning to use it as a Mercedes events show car and put some aftermarket parts on it: Hella European headlights, Evo II wheels, Bilstein shocks and Vogtland springs in the front. The original front struts and springs are included in the sale. Rear Self Leveling System retained and lowered 1 inch by adjusting the linkages/ arms. It was stored most of time in the past 4 years. The rear wheels started to squeeze noise. Sounds like it comes from the bearings. The small cover on the front bumper is missing A/C need to be served. The factory 1989 Evo I front bumper/lip/splitter sold separately. It is wider than the stock one but flow nicely on the stock body without any modification. It is out of the 500 Mercedes Evolution I parts. Very rear. It was a special order from Germany that cost $2500. Contact me if you have any questions.
