1962 gmc pickup with 305 v-6 with automatic. this truck belonged to a co-worker who no longer wanted it. he was going to take it to a junk yard and get what he could for it and i thought someone could use it or buy for parts so i bought it off of him and list it here, i think old trucks and cars should be restored not crushed. i am into dodge products or i would restore it. it does run and automatic does work, needs body work as it has dents on body. has manuel steering and brakes. it it just a work truck with little options on it. been 2 years since it was last used on farm. has surface rust in some places and wood bed floor is starting to fail. front fenders are starting to rust by door but rest is solid. floor is not ate and is showing some rust. frame is solid along with trailing arms that hold rearend in place . i am told this is where they rust but this one is solid. brakes has a left rear that is leaking so will need replaced. tires hold air but will need new one as they look old. radiator is good and engine is smokefree. has anti-freeze in it and looks fresh(no oil in it) it is all there so if you have one that needs a drivetrain here it is. i have a low reserve on as i know what the recycling yard will give me for it. would be nice for someone to get it and drive it.
