Vehicle Detail

For sale is a 1930 Ford Model A Pickup. The doors, hood, and cowl are good and straight with no rust out. The steel fenders have a few dents and there are a few cracks that have been welded. Also included is a full set of fiberglass fenders and an original Ford Model A pickup box. The back of the pickup cab could use some body work help. I believe the current body work was done in the late '50s, as the last time it was plated was 1957. The windshield is there and not broken. Two '49 -- '53 Flatheads are included, one Mercury and one Ford with the plans of building an old school stroker. The Mercury crank was sent out and turned .20 on the mains and .10 on the rods, also a Snyder reground cam with 270 duration and 350 lift. The Ford heads were blasted and checked and are good. They were both complete when I purchased them. All parts that were on them or in them will go with this sale. Also included is a Borg Warner T-5 transmission, this is a five speed manual transmission with overdrive that has been rebuilt, and includes a custom flathead adapter. The rear end is a Ford 8.8 posi, with disc brakes out of a 1990 Lincoln Mark VII LSC. The front end is all new from Speedway: 4" dropped axle, spring, bearings, hubs, calipers, rotors, hairpins... Also new rear hairpins, and new shocks and coil over springs for the rear end. The (5) rims are a Ford bolt pattern, and were used for rollers. Included are four 670 -- 15 Wide Whitewall bias tires with the pie crust sidewalls in great shape, and the front tires which are 165r15 wide whitewalls are brand new. I have several boxes of additional parts, including the headlights, headlight bar, and original "ooh-gah" horn; way too much to list. Please ask if there is something specific you are wondering about, or would like additional pictures of. This truck carries a good Iowa title in my name, and it is titled as a 1930 Model A pickup. I would love to keep this truck, but we just had a baby and I just don't see us having much extra time to work on it. If you would like additional information or pictures, please be SPECIFIC about what you would like. Buyer is responsible for shipping/picking up. Thanks for looking, and good luck bidding Keywords: Project, rat rod, hot rod, flathead, ratrod, hotrod, rockabilly, greaser, kustom
