Classic VW Rabbit diesel. A person could fix this up so that it's a nice commuter, or totally restore it and have an awesome classic to drive around. These cars first caught my eye in the early 80's, and then once again when I became interested in hypermiling (trying to get the most out of a tank of gas/fuel) and started reading blogs by various hypermilers. It kept popping up in my research due to their fuel economy. Anyway, it's a lot less expensive than a Prius. Car runs and drives. Starts right up when warm. Has trouble with cold starts.Tires are okayNo major dings on body, just some minor small ones.Transmission works.Seat upholstery is good.Speedometer works. Driver side door works, but passenger door opens only from inside.Odometer doesn't work. *Actual miles unknown* 190,000 is the mileage listed on current title (issue date was 4/02/2012).Emergency brake doesn't work.Brakes work, but pedal is hard to press.No radio, but appears to already have the wiring in place.No A/CFuel gauge not accurateHeadliner gone except for the foam.There is 1 front or rear turn signal not working.Painted primer light gray.
