You are bidding on a 1989 Alfa Romeo Spider Quadrifoglio Convertible 2-Door 2.0L - 61200 miles The car is in good condition. The previous owner had the car in SC before moving to Georgia and had new title in GA in 2000. Paint 8 / 10 - nice shine. Dents - small dent on the driver door, no paint damage. Spare tire is available. Battery in good shape. Small leak was noticed lately under the car but nothing major. Hardtop is in good condition Soft Top is like brand new condition, plastic window is pristine . All electronics are working: _Windows and mirrors _Headlights and tail lights _ Trunk light and engine hood light _hartop light and rear windshield defrost in good working condition Repairs completed: New tires installed at 61000 miles Replaced - Trunk cable and housing Replaced - slave cylinder, flex line and flush system Replaced - Transmission mount 60K - service - oil change (20w-50), filter transmision, differential, main fuel filter, coolant (antifreeze), brake fluid, tune up, air filter and adjust valves, bosch 4 prong platinum plug, bosch distributor cap, bosch 4 cyl rotor, new radiator cap, new mass airflow cross over tube, thermostat, valve cover gasket, camshaft half moon x2 and o-rings, air condition charged R12 freon. Replaced - passenger door regulator and window motor. Replaced - Tail light bulbs and signal bulbs replaced Total repairs $3210.00 Things car still needs: - Speedometer is slow and not accurate, odometer is in good working condition -Parking break ratchet is wearing in some area, it needs changing at some point but few teeth still in good shape. The Spider underwent a major styling revamp in 1983, which saw the introduction of black rubber front and rear bumpers. The front bumper incorporated the grille and a small soft rubber spoiler was added to the trunk lid. The change altered the exterior appearance of the car considerably and was not universally praised by enthusiasts. Various other minor mechanical and aesthetic modifications were also made, and the 1600 car (never available in North America) dropped the "Junior" name. The Quadrifoglio Verde (Green Fourleaf Clover) model was introduced in 1986, with many aesthetic tweaks, including sideskirts, mirrors, new front and rear spoilers, hard rubber trunk mounted spoilers with integral 3rd stoplight, unique 15" alloys and optional removable hardtop. Different interior trim included blood red carpets and gray leather seats with red stitching. QV was offered in only 3 colours: red, silver and black. It was otherwise mechanically identical to the standard Spider Veloce model, with a 1962 cc double overhead cam, four-cylinder engine (twin two-barrel carburetors in Europe; North American models retained the Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection introduced for the 1982 model year except that the VVT mechanism was now L-Jet activated) and five-speed manual transmission.[14] The interior was revised with a new center console, lower dash panels (to meet U.S. regulations) and a single monopod gauge cluster (with electronic gauges).
