1978 European Porsche 928. I brought this car in from Germany in 1984 with 36000 miles on it. Since then the european speedometer / odometer has been replaced at some point and I really don't know how many miles it has on it. In the late 1980's I had a whole new roof with a sunroof put on the car. They did an excellent job. This should be the only 1978 in the world with a sunroof as they weren't available on 1978 models. At that time I also had a front spoiler, rear spoiler, right side mirror, and side moldings to make it look like an S-4. it was also painted at that time. A few years later I had the leather interior redone. The car runs great. I have spent about $3500 in the last couple years on the suspension and a few other items. The sunroof and power windows work. While it does run good and the transmission shifts good, it needs some electrical work as well as some cosmetic work. None of the dash lights work. The A/C doesn't work, the power antenna doesn't work, the headlights don't work right, the interior lights don't work. It needs hood and trunk lid shocks. It needs lots of little trim pieces replaced and the leather is showing some wear. When the paint is buffed out it looks sharp but there are a couple places where there are chips coming off, and it's going to need some attention before too long. The good thing is that it does run great so it will be a great car to tinker with and make it really nice.
