1987 Renault AMC GTA Convertible 79,640 miles Clean Title It was made in Kenosha, Wisconsin I purchased this sweet little GTA in July of 2006. It had 71,985 miles when I bought it. I have driven it every summer since and it has been a great runner! Transmission shifts nice. This spring at 79,100 miles we put 4 new Dunlop Direzza DZ101 195/50-15 factory spec tires ($400.00) they still have some of the nubs on them. These new tires give excellent handling ability. Standard Ronal Aluminum Wheels Original "boot" to cover top when down, in excellent condition. 5 Speed Manual transmission Olympic White Exterior Tan Interior Front Driver original GTA mat. I am still driving this car daily and love it; I have had a lot of fun. It has never left me stranded, it has been VERY dependable! I have most of the records of work performed just before I bought it in 2006 and everything after! Garaged Year Around, and ONLY driven from April to October in Michigan The interior of this GTA is exceptionally clean. The seats have no rips. I have had front seat covers on it since I purchased it to protect the good seats! Just a few weeks ago the original radio/cassette player stopped working properly. I can no longer change stations on it. However it does turn on. The cassette player hasn’t worked since I purchased it. At one point in its life it had been in an accident and was repaired. However the accident wasn't major as it doesn’t show up in the vehicle history report. Some of the damage can still be seen on the passenger side front. The front grill I believe was replaced at that time. It was repaired. The front driver window does go up hard. They are manual windows. I can put it up I just have to help it by holding as I turn the handle. The top has seen better days no doubt. I didn't put money into replacing it, the back window is cracked. I have ALWAYS during the summer kept the top down (no I didn’t drive it if it was raining). The power motor on the top mechanism works great! During the winter for storage the top is up! There are a few tears. Please allow photos to give you a better opinion! We have used Eastwood Rust Preventer under the entire carriage. It remains relatively rust free. There are a few cosmetic blemishes. I have done my best to show these in pictures. All of the interior lights work great! The seat belt buzzer and door buzzer all work great too. The license plate lights had failed and we couldn’t obviously find the right replacement so we used lenses for a different vehicle and made them work and look good. The original clock is non working; it hasn't worked since I have owned it. The windshield wiper reservoir has a hole. It won't hold fluid and the sprayer was so corroded we removed it. The trunk is clean as a whistle. You will not be disappointed! It does not burn or leak oil. I was told that the timing belt was changed by the previous owner. However I don’t have a receipt to prove it. Please feel free to ask ANY questions, I am able to answer them quickly.
