LOCAL DELIVERY ALSO AN OPTION FOR A SMALL FEE. Up for sale is a 2000 Ford Excursion. Original owner, and can say the vehicle has not had any body work (no accidents), and have a clear title in hand. All paint is original, and when clean has a beautiful shine. The color is the dark metallic blue that looks almost purple, blue or black depending on the lighting. The mileage will most likely change as it is a daily driver. Here are some potential issues it has: The running boards need to repaired/replaced due to rust. This will be done at some point if if it is not sold soon. The front hubs do not auto lock - probably due to a vacuum leak, but they DO lock manually by turning the front hubs. It has a few exhaust leaks, again, at some point it will be fixed if it doesn't sell. One headlight/turning light is discolored from water. Odometer was replaced, total miles is 155K. Original odometer repaired and reinstalled, both included with truck. A few rust spots on the bottoms of doors/fenders - frame, floor, gas tank, etc are solid. Here is a detailed description of the vehicle: Triton V10 - 6.8L non-EGR, with 4R100 4 speed automatic transmission 4WD with low range Factory locking rear axle with stock 4.30 axle ratio Front and rear heat/AC with front and rear controls (COLD a/c) AM/FM/CD & 6 disc changer in center console Front and rear radio controls Front door speakers upgraded to JBL component 2 way, rear door also upgraded to JBL 3 rows of seats for 8 comfortable passengers There are no tears, minimal stains/wear on the interior Even basic things like the map pockets on front seats are tight - never filled with junk Rear back up sensor Telescoping power heated side mirrors Vehicle also comes with the rubber, front floor mats which were always used during the winter. Stock floormats included and look almost perfect. THIS HAS ALWAYS BEEN A SMOKE FREE VEHICLE All of the above items you would find on an average Excursion. This Excursion also had the following additions: BANKS Power Pack (upgraded air intake, K&N filter, Stainless headers, upgraded Y-pipe, muffler and tailpipe) Due to the exhaust leaks, there is also an entire BANKS exhaust system excluding the muffler (not installed, but inlcude the stainless headers, Y-pipe, exhaust pipe, tailpipe with chrome tip, hangers and hardware) All of these parts will be included. Can also include the original exhaust parts removed when Banks system installed (manifolds, y-pipe, muffler & tailpipe if desired). Whipple twin screw supercharger (factory boost), Fuel pump booster module Bosch Platinum +4 spark plugs Transtar shift kit Upgraded main U-joints to extreme duty The engine starts immediately, has no knocks or ticks, and does not smoke. Transmission shifts firm but smooth with the mild shift kit. All the glass/mirrors are perfect. All electronics work: radio, heat/AC, lights, power seat, rear defroster, power locks, rear wiper, etc. As you can see from the list of additions, this vehicle was not patched together with cheap parts and any repairs were always made with stock or better parts. Some of the items repaired over the years: shocks, front stabilizer links, front hubs, fuel pump/sender assembly, alternator, belts (main serpentine and blower), calipers, rotors, and master cylinder. All of these parts were replaced with genuine Ford parts. Most of the old parts are available if you want them (for future cores, etc.) For the winter, it has a factory set of 8 hole Alcoa style wheels with a set of General Grabber ATX2 Mud/snow tires 285/75/16 w/carbide studs. As a note, with the studded snows, locking rear, and a few tons of weight - this can go through a LOT of snow. For the summer, it has a factory set of 5 hole premium wheels w/ the stock size Firestone Steeltex tires which just about last forever - they have about 50% tread and no cracks. Both sets of tires and aluminum wheels are included in the sale! All tires have a good balance and they have no curb rash or repairs. Engine has always been run with Synthetic 5W30 & a Purolator One filter, blower with Synthetic 0W50. Rear axle was flushed and replaced with Ford Synthetic fluid / friction modifer as well. Transmission was flushed when the shift kit was installed and again at about 100K. Blower oil last changed at 140K. Cooling system has been flushed routinely, as well as the power steering and brake lines. Truck goes 3,000 miles between oil changes and isn't low when due for a change. Truck comes with two K&N filters (one came with the Whipple supercharger, the second came with the Banks PowerPack). I'll include the remainder of the K&N cleaner and oil conditioner chemicals as well. Roof rack cross pieces were removed when vehicle was new to prevent scratches/debris damagind roof - these are in new condition and will be re-installed. Even with the blower and 4.30 gears, when it takes a trip on the highway, it will average about 14 MPG. Truck was rarely used for towing. It has towed a 28' cabin cruiser, a 12,000lb full tandem dump trailer, and a car trailer a total of about 10 times. Each time, the truck drove effortlessly.
