Up for auction is a 1985 GMC Step Side Van, in Good Condition, runs great, drives great, gets fairly good gas mileage because it has a all aluminum cab, it is lighter than most trucks this size, for those that don't know, aluminum is lighter than steel and will never rust, the exterior paint is fair, but no worries it won't rust, the driver seat is like new, it has good brakes, the tires are about half used, the doors can be locked, I have the free and clear tittle to it, I used it for my band, but we are not going anywhere, so here it is, this would be a great work truck, for painters, contractors, or race teams, the cargo space is over 12' feet long, and 80" inch tall ceiling, I built a shelf behind the seat high up close to the ceiling with a cargo net in front, the engine is a 4 bolt main Chevrolet 350 with a 4 barrel carb. power steering, power brakes, I added a oil pressure and temperature gauge to the dash, it has great oil pressure, and normal temperature readings, it has the air conditioning coil and blower assembly, but no compressor, it looks like someone started putting air conditioning on it but never finished, it never matter to me if it had air conditioning or not, this is a work truck, I had a mechanic check it out, and he said it was a very reliable truck.
