Up for a NO RESERVE auction is this 2002 Mercury Mountaineer. Owned within the same family since new. She is powered by the 4.0L 6cyl and has full time All Wheel Drive. Equipped with heated and power(up front) seating including a 3rd row. Has a power sunroof and stereo/HVAC controls on the steering wheel. It has had quite a bit of recent work so it is ready to get in and drive! The transmission was just FULLY rebuilt with no expense spared($2500 job which I will gladly discuss in detail with anyone interested). While the truck was apart the viscous coupler in the transfercase was also replaced(very common problem with these trucks that has already been addressed for peace of mind). Rear struts have recently been replaced with quick-strut assemblies. Truck has good brakes, good tires and every function works just as it should, including cold A/C! The only issues, if you even want to call them that are strictly cosmetic. The front bumper is a little beat up. It is cracked by the fog light housings(see pictures). There is also a bit of rust(see pictures) near the gas door. This is extremely common on these trucks. There is NO rust present anywhere else on the vehicle. The interior is in good shape aside from the driver seat bottom and the driver floormat. Obviously, this is a 10 year old vehicle so expect normal wear and tear that you will find on any used vehicle. You are more than welcomed to inspect the vehicle prior to auction end. This truly is a "turn key" get in it and go vehicle. I wouldn't think twice about driving it anywhere. I have both keys, both remotes and all of the manuals. I can pick up an out of state buyer from a local airport, just call me to discuss. I can also assist in getting it to your transporter if that is needed.
