I'm Selling my 96 Maxima as it is a second car and is no longer needed. The car has served me well of the last 4 years and never left me stranded. The sunroof works but there is something that sticks up in the track that prevents it from being closed once it is opened, I was able to press it down with a screwdriver and the sunroof then was closeable. It is safe to open about 3 inches, that's it. ALSO the sunroof drains may be clogged and it had leaked, I cleared out the two front drains to the best of my ability and that resolved the situation, but to be safe I used removable black duct tape to seal the sunroof since I couldn't get to the rear drains and didn't want there to be another leak. The starter dosen't always fire the first time and an additional turn of the key may be needed. The Bose stereo sounds great but the CD player doesn't work and the display on the radio sometimes doesn't show the station. There is rust behind the wheels on the body as shown in the pics. There has been very slight oil leakage over the years, but it has never been alot nor got too low between oil changes. As you can see I am being very honest with every detail of the car that I can recall. I realize and so should you that this is a used car and there are no guarantees or warrany.
