Page Item Description For You Consideration is a 1968 Ford Galaxie 500 XL 390 Convertible. 1of only 6600 Convertibles With the Rare 76B Option. Manufactured The Louisville Plant In December of 1967. This is a Numbers Matching 390 V8 With Dual Exhaust And a 3 Speed Automatic C6 Transmission. Car Sat in Storage For 15 Years After The Owner Passed Away. The Tank Was Recently Cleaned And a New Fuel Pump Replaced. It Seems To Have Good Power., Runs, Shifts and Drives Normal. Currently It Could Use An Overall Tune Up. IE: Rebuild Carb, New Plugs, Etc. Options Include : Power Steering Power Front Disk Brakes Factory Air Conditioning Philco AM/8 Track Radio Chassis is in Great Shape As Are The Floors and Trunk Pan. Body is Very Straight and Appears To Be a Typical Overall Solid Georgia Car. I've Walked The Entire Car With a Magnet. It is Very Solid. There is a Small Amount of Rust Above the Trunk. Factory Color Was Originally a Beautiful Brittany Blue Metallic. Interior is Very Respectable and Has Held Up Very Well. Doors Panels, Seats and Dash Face are Decent.(See Pictures) Dash Pad Has a Couple Cracks. Carpet is Original And Has Faded a Bit. Top Goes Up and Down Perfect ! Obviously Needs The Canvas Top Replaced. Still Has The Original Tonneau Cover That Fits Over The Top When Retracted.. 15 Inch Good Year Radials With Factory Wire Hubcaps. Jack and Spare in the Trunk.
