Vehicle Detail
This van is in good condition and has been well maintained. There is a piece of the trim by the passenger front door that is cracked and the passanger tail light has a repaired spot in the area of the backup light. This car has given our family a lot of good years. It is clean and well cared for in and out. The oil was regularly changed. It has been in my wife's family since it was new. Here are the things we have done to the car lately: In March of 2012 at 198100 miles we had a new muffler and gasket installed. In January of 2012 we had a new thermostat installed. In October of 2010 at 179334 miles new front pemium semi metallic brale pads and new front rotors were installed. In November of 2009 at 168406 miles we had 4 new tires installed. In January of 2008 at 155763 mileswe had a new wiper motor installed The reason we are selling the van is that recently it started loosing coolant and the mechanic told us it is probably the head gasket. The car will start right up and run but the coolant quickly runs out on the ground and that creates a risk of overheating the engine. The fuel guage is not working at this time. We feel that someone who is handy with this sort of thing could fix it right up. Please note this when bidding. The van is in Urbana, Ilinois and we can have it towed up to 75 miles if you need it. We do not recommend that you drive it until the gasket is repaired.
