You are bidding on a 1997 BMW M3 4 door sedan. I have owned this vehicle since 2008, and it has been a blast. I would love to keep this car but I got engaged and need to sell the car to help out with the down payment on a house. GOOD: I bought the car with about 125,000 miles and it roughly has 155,134 miles and counting on it now, as it is my daily driver. The car has a 3.2 inline six, with a automatic sport transmission . Leather seats with dual power/heated/memory. Car does not have the Vader seats, the previous owner replaced them with E-46 seats for comfort. Car has power sunroof and rear spoiler. Car has factory multi- disc CD player. The previous owner had put after-market pod gauges on the pillar, for oil pressure, head temp, and etc. However some need to be replaced, sometimes they are accurate and other times they arent. It had front tires put on it in April, and new rear tires we put on in September before the car was put into storage. The car has the 10 spoke original alloy "M-sport" rims. It has new front struts, spark plugs, and did an oil change about 2 months ago- I have always used Mobil-1 oil with the recommended German oil filters. I have always ran 91 octane and lately ive been running non-ethonal fuel, and runs much smoother and fuel milage has increased. I have been averaging well over 27 mpg. There are no lights on the dash, passed NYS inspection in April. Since I have bought the car it has been out into storage for the winter months, also looks like the previous owner did the same. The chassis is still clean. Car will come with a dust cover, used one year, still like new BAD: The car has its flaws. The roof, hood and trunk are sun faded. The control box for the air conditioner/heater cuts in and out. This is common for the age of the car, one of the forums I was on you can get them rebuilt by a BMW mechanic for around 50 dollars.The speakers cut in and out, haven't had a chance to chase down whats causing this. If anyone has additional questions or wanting more pictures please don't be hestiant to ask. My reserve is low because of the flaws of the car and needing to get rid of the car. Once again the car isn't perfect. It has some scratches, dents, and sun faded roof, trunk, and hood. The car has 155K miles and is sold as is, with no expressed or implied warranty. I recommend serious buyers to see the car in person prior to buying in order to truly appreciate it. A $500 deposit within 48 hrs for the car, and the remaining balance can be brought when car is picked up in cash, cashiers check or money order. Buyer is responsible for pick up and or shipping arrangements. Will help load car.
