1967 Plymouth Belvedere II 318 V-8...AT...209K miles...4-DR Sedan I bought this car in 1993 and it has alternated between a daily driver and a second car since then . A year and a half ago my mechanic informed me that the right rear axle bearing was leaking and that axle bearings needed to be replaced. Rather than sink any more money into it and needing a car with better gas mileage I bought a used Ford Focus (which I like) and put this car in storage. I've done all the routine maintenance and regular oil changes and tune-ups over the years and all is original save the gas cap and antennae. Hoping someone might want to restore this or use it as a parts car, I would hate to send this to the junk yard. The engine knocks a bit but is strong and starts right up in the morning and the car drives good at highway speeds. Over the years I have replaced the alternator, water pump, master cylinder and the u-joints, tie-rod ends, brake drums, inner bearings, and seals and done other misc. repairs. Transmission is fine with no issues. Body is missing the right rear trim piece, hood emblem was broken off, 'Belvedere' emblem inserts are just stickers, windshield is cracked, there is a small ding just ahead of right front wheel well and there are scratches behind right rear tire. Left corner of front bumper is bent downwards slightly from my neighbors PT Cruiser hooking it, there are numerous small road nicks that don't show up well in the photos, some rust on rear quarter panels and in front of trunk below window, gas cap leaks a bit. Car definitely needs a new paint job. Interior upholstery of front and back seats is cracked and split (there was seat cover on front bench seat when I bought the car so upholstery was split back then. I just removed a seat cover I put in later so you can see the condition of the upholstery), there is a dinner plate sized piece of carpet worn away under driver's feet, headliner is fine. Gas gauge no longer works and right turn signal that faces driver is burnt out and I'm not sure how that is replaced. All the other gauges, lights, knobs, radio, heater, wipers and other functions work. Car comes with an extra set of rims in case you want to mount some snow tires. Located in Loyal Heights neighborhood of Seattle in case anyone in the Seattle area wants to look it over. Clear title. Must arrange own transport.
