This is a local car from the West Nebraska desert, that we try to farm. Check out the pics. No rust starting anywhere. This SHO V8 engine sounds great(SHO's just sound mean), tranny shifts all four gears solid, and rides, drives, stops good. The JBL sound system sounds great. Exhaust sounds stock and quiet. All gauges, windows, and locks appear to be working. Glass is good, but for a crack in the windshield on the passenger side. Seat, trunk release, mirrors function properly. Steering appears to be tight. Doesn't appear to be any hidden history. This is the third SHO of this vintage we have had this year and this one would be the easiest project of the three, but the other 2 sold locally and I have decided to offer this to our Ebay clientel, too. I've told you the good. Now I'll discuss what I found on my test drive and clean up: Back valve cover gasket leaks oil onto the manifold and smokes it off. Check engine light is on and the paperwork in the car indicates when she took it to her mechanic, he came up with 2 bad plugs or coils on the back side of engine (Apperently she decided that was too expensive and decided to have him change the four easy front plugs instead------no, she does not work for our government) A/C is all there and 134A, but does not blow cold. As with my other 2 SHOs; the coolant level sensor light is on, and we haven't unplugged this one yet. Some small panels and lenses are off inside and are in the car. At least one front strut has a clunk (my '96 Continental has had one for over 100k). If you gather this is a creampuff from the pics and description, you need a couple more rides on that short bus. This is a decent start of a fun 4dr V8 rod. Car apparently was inside much of it's life as the crazed paint is confined to the wing. Soft dent in left rear quarter and vandels scratched the door and dented the hood. We could have picked up a hood a U PUL IT, but didn't want to spoil your fun. Yes the 2 bad plugs or coils with the check engine light means the engine misses(noticeable at idle). 2. Cruise contol lights up, but didn't engage. 3. Yes, the picture is right. The driver's seat has a gaping hole in it. Consider all the leather weathered. There is a seam split at back top of rear seat.
