Vehicle Detail

1970 Porsche 914-6 serial# 9140432363. Fuches cookie cutter rims. The Ate brakes have been rebuilt. The rear springs have been replaced. The body is painted blue, but needs repainting, clear coat is failing. Black targa top removes easily and is stored in trunk. The engine has been replaced with a 2.7 liter from a 1977 911s. Naturally aspirated by two triple throat carburetors. The transmission is original rear shift. Original heat exchangers used for exhaust. Oil drips from main seal and oil reservoir behind drivers seat. The seats are in good condition. There is a tear in front left door panel. Dash upholstery is pealing off and is missing chrome strip. Gages all work. Lights work interior and exterior. Heater and fan works. Original floor mats and passenger foot rest. Original tool kit included. I have had the car for over ten years. I purchased it in Ontario. The car has a salvaged title but is currently registered and street legal. The title is salvage due to theft, not accident. The car was stolen in 2004 they removed the engine, transmission, gages. I purchased the car back from my insurance company and had the engine upgraded to a 2.7 liter. The work was done by Steve's Independent Porsche of Fullerton. As for rust the battery tray is solid, laterals look solid. There is one small bubble the size of a dime at the base of the driver window. Trunks do not have any rust holes. This is an original 914-6 body that has not been cut or welded. On Aug-14-12 at 11:19:08 PDT, seller added the following information: 1970 Porsche 914-6 serial# 9140432363. Fuches cookie cutter rims.
