The floors are original and intact. The floors, longitudinals, closing panels and battery box will need to be replaced. The front deck lid was kinked by an idiot and then repaired poorly by his blind cousin! All of the major items that we all spend silly amounts of time looking for are with the car (engine, tranny, brakes, fuel system, interior, dash components, rear bumper, decent wheels, Glass, Window Frames, etc….) The engine in the car (engine # 85385 ) is NOT the original engine for this car, but it is the proper type engine – 1600 Super and it does turn over freely. The transmission in the car was in the vehicle when I acquired her years ago. The car DOES NOT RUN. You will need to freshen up the engine and rebuild the brakes prior to trying to drive this car. If you are studying this ad, then you are looking for a good project car and you aare aware of the market values. The bad news is that there are very few COMPELTE project cars being offered for sale at fair prices. The good news is that virtually all of the parts to rebuild this car are available, my reserve is fair and you are considering a rational investment as Porsche 356 seems to be climbing in value monthly I am available 9am – 9pm est if you want to buy the car and you would like to talk, you are welcome to call me at (USA) 843 639 9393. Please don’t ask me about my reserve, the paint thickness, why the front turn signals and front bumper mounting holes are eliminated or why the car is sporting pearl white paint with the Irish green dash and multi colored interior elements – Let’s just consider these lovely alterations to be part of the fabric of the car’s history. International Shipping: I am happy to assist international buyers in exporting the car. I have a warehouse manager who can load an ocean container for you securely. The price for his time and materials is $400 US. Title Comments: I do not have a title for the car! NO games here, I didn’t get one when I purchased the car as the prior owner had this car buried in storage for 20 years and they could not find the title. I can get a title for the buyer if needed for a fee of $500 (it will cost me more than this amount). The car must be paid for within 7 days of the auction end. If you want a title, I will then get it for you and you can reimburse me the $500 when I send you a copy of the title! Storage: I will not charge you for storage if you need a title and that process is underway. If you do not need a title – the car must be picked up in 14 days after the auction ends. Storage is $25 / day. Misc: I have a fairly good inventory of parts and pieces for the 356. I am willing to work with the buyer to offer any missing items for the car at fair prices.
