This is an "As Is, Final Sale". 1997 Ford Probe GT 151239 miles. TRANSMISSION OUT, 2.5l V6 runs great, gets good MPG (24+ on hwy); tranny went out on 8/10/12. Less than 1000 miles ago, new Crankshaft Position Sensor ($80) and Distributor ($450), 16" tires have less then 7K miles on them. Nice 16" aftermarket aluminum wheels. Car is in pretty decent shape for it's age. Interior is pretty clean, no major damage, typical wear hole in the drivers seat (about quarter size); the rest of the seats look great. Power Moonroof (does not leak). A/C works great and is cold!! Cruise and all power accessories work. Rear wiper and defroster work. Small dents at front of hood and a dent in the driverside headlamp cover; typical nicks and scratches for a 15 year old car. Only notable/visable rust is the right rear corner of the hatch. The tranny went out and I'm done putting money into it. This would be a great project car/fixer upper; especially if you happen to have another like it sitting around with a bad motor. I can get at least $300 salvage value out of it; but I figured I'd put it out here on ebay just in case somebody need the parts or wants a project. I hate to see a good car go to the salvage yard if it doesn't have to. It runs but does not drive. If within 100 miles of Omaha, NE; I will work with the buyer on delivery.
