I have a 1972 VW bus - Westfalia edition. It's a pop up camper top. Came out of New Mexico previously and then NYC. Very Solid. Has great solid bumpers. Step style in front. The Good:4 Speed ManualHas 4 new 2 ply load range tires from Sears.New clutchNew front end componentsHas a single Weber Carb motor from a 1978 bus. (2000cc)I still have the original 1700cc motor (crank walked and has a bad seal)All cushions are in good shapeStill has the cabinet with the spice rackChild cotStoolBack snap in screenNewer paint TITLE:I live in Rhode island and do they do not issue titles for vehicles over 10 years of age. It will be sold with the previous registration and Bill of sale. I believe i have the .previous title (NY),but need to look for it The Bad:When I removed the motor to take care of a oil cooler leak, I crossed a wire after putting the motor back in and trying to fire it back up. The two wires going to the coil. This fried the condenser, points and a wire somewhere under the dash. I am awful with electrical and have been dragging my feet for 2 years now and have just lost interest. I can turn the motor over with the ignition just fine, but it will not fire. Spins up just fine.I also have a NEW electronic ignition for it. you could just run a hot wire to the could, but would rather have someone do it right and enjoy the bus again.So the Bus is begin sold not running. The mesh and tent had rips in it. Easily replaced on line from busboys.com Other things to note:Heat tubes are disconnected, but I have the baffles and blower motorI reserve the right to end the auction earlier since it's being sold locally.Sink faucet nozzle is broken, but I have it.Will come with various extra parts Please ask question. Set up for 6x9 speakers. Last owner removed these with out replacement. The motor is a dual port pancake motor.
