Up for sale is a 2000 Ford Super Duty F-250 with 153898 miles. We have personally driven and inspected this vehicle. Engine starts, runs, sound and performs excellent. There are no leaks, smoke, overheating or knocking sounds. Transmission shifts all gears smoothly. Good tires, brakes and tight suspension. Interior is clean and non smoker. Exterior is clean with no sign of previous damage. The 4x4 on the truck works perfect and the ac blows cold. We purcahsed this truck from a customer, it did not come from a dealer auction if you must know but this fact does not make any difference to us at all! We use a VCM which is a same computer/scanner that a Ford dealer uses it. The inspections that we do on these truck most dealer have not even heard of nor can they perform, here are some of those inspections; INJECTOR BUZZ TEST, CYLINDER CONTRIBUTION TEST (WE PERFORM THIS INSEPCTION WHILE THE TRUCK IS COLD & WHEN THE TRUCK IS RUNNING, IT’S THE ONLY WAY YOU SHOULD DO A CYLINDER CONTRIBUTION TEST ON A POWERSTROKE) ON DEMAND SELF TEST, GLOW PLUG SELF TEST, KEY ON ENGINE ON TEST, KEY ON ENGINE RUNNING TEST (FORD REFER TO THEM AS KOEO, KOER) WE ALSO CHECK OUT THE BOOST ON THE TRUCK. WE USE A VCM COMPUTER FOR THE INSPECTIONS STATED, THE SAME COMPUTER/SCANNER THAT FORD MASTER DIESEL TECHNICIAN USES AT THE FORD DEALER. HOWEVER, IT'S VERY UNLIKELY THAT A FORD DEALER CHECKS THE BOOST ON THE TRUCK. WE TAKE THE VEHICLE ON THE HWY AND BRING IT TO OPERATING TEMPERATURE. WE LOOK FOR LEAKS, LISTEN TO THE TRUCK AND THEREAFTER, STRAT WORKING ON THEM. Why do we tell you so much, well... why not think about it? You see most folks know that the 7.3L are solid engines but that does not mean that the 7.3L that you are looking to purchase is solid! Hence, if you do not know how to inspect these truck how will you know the truck is solid? How would you know what needs to be corrected and what repairs needs to be done? We have been doing this for a long time and we like to think of ourselves as a dealer that knows these diesel trucks but even us (a dealer that has been involved in diesel trucks since 2004) purcahse trucks that have issues. Therefore, you may wish to think about that for a little before you make a purcahse. Are we telling you a story? No, we are not. We are just trying to save you some time and money! Sometimes we state what repairs and services have been done on the truck. Thereafter, we get folks that ask why did we have to do all that reapirs, what was wrong with the truck? We tell you because we want you to know, we want you to know that there has not been a time that we have purcahsed a truck that it did not have any issues. So imagine what you can get into. Also, we like to tell you that we take care of our vehicles and are not shy to admit that perhaps there's only hand full of dealers in the entire country that know these diesels trucks and do spend money in on them like we do! Most of them have not even heard of the inspections that we have stated, let alone doing what we do! If you think that we are just talking, then why not send out your best diesel technician to come and inspect the truck, IF the truck fails any mechanical or electrical insepction we will PAY for your inspection No quesitons asked! See if you dealer will offer you the same thing!? We pay more attention to the mechanical and electrical aspect of the vehicle than the cosmetics, even though most folks buy with their eyes! The truck has some scratches here and there, if you want specifics then give us a call. We have also replaced and repaired the followings: All four door actuators , replaced the clocks springs due to SRS light, two new batteries, four new shcoks, two new warn hub locks, fresh oil change, vent hose front diff, front wheel speed sensor.. Note; you will more than likely than not find a dealer that does the work that we do, they then ask the same price if not more, perhaps another reason you should buy from us.
