Vehicle Detail

1993 Saab 9000 CSE Turbo finished in Ruby Red with Dark Gray Leather upholstery. This car is in very impressive condition, a rare find among Saabs of this vintage. It has been garage kept, seldom used, and very well cared for. It is an incredibly utilitarian design with the fold down rear seats and hatch yet fast and responsive as well as fuel efficient. As a result of these characteristics many of these cars were driven hard and used up. This car has covered only 70k miles. It has had only two owners and was transferred in 2005 when it had only 10k miles on it. I have the window sticker which lists the original retail price as being $36,560. I would compare it's condition and wear to that of a very well kept 5 year old car. The car is in excellent condition and would certainly be appreciated by any Saab fan. The exterior of the car is in excellent condition. The paint holds an extremely deep shine and luster with no signs of fade. There is some minor scuffing on the corner of the rear bumper and some small chips on the front fender but aside from that there is barley a scratch. Far fewer imperfections than what you would expect on a car of this age. All glass, plastic, and trim pieces are in very good shape and have no damage. The wheels are also in very good condition. The interior is also in excellent. The leather is soft and supple, there is no tightening, stretch, or tears in the upholstery. There are only very minor signs of wear, primarily on the driver's seat side bolster . The seats hold their original shape and form. There are no cracks anywhere on the dash. The headliner sits perfectly, however, the sunroof panel has loosened and been pinned. The velour door trim panels are all in excellent shape being sealed tightly to the backing with no sign of release. This car has not been smoked in and has no strange odors. The carpets are free from any noticeable dirt, wear, or stains. The trip computer has lost some pixels and certain displays are difficult to read. The older stereo components have been consolidated into one head unit but I will include the OEM Clarion head unit and CD player that were with the car when I had purchased it. Mechanically, the car runs perfectly. It drives beautifully. The suspension and steering are tight, the clutch works perfectly, and the engine is fast and strong. There are no strange noises or rattles. The front end makes no noises while going over bumps or turning. The rear hatch and hood shocks work as they should and hold open. All interior functions: power seats, stereo, windows etc. work as they should, heat is hot and A/C is cold. The SRS light is illuminated on the dash. The power antenna mast will not fully extend on it's own. It will go up a few inches and needs to be manually extended for the rest. The motor is working but a new mast is needed as the teeth are most likely stripped. The tires are in excellent condition and have plenty of tread. I have two keys and a flat wallet key. This 9000 is a very rare find in with such low mileage, a 5 speed manual transmission, and being in excellent condition. There are not many left on the road and even fewer in this condition. This would be a great car for a fan these old Saabs. I have tried to describe the car as thoroughly and accurately as possible. If you have any further questions, would like specific photos or would like to see the car, please let me know.
