I am going to try this again. The last time I had this pickup listed, a scammer tried to buy it and ruined the auction. Up for auction is a truly remarkable 1979 Ford F-250 Extended Cab 4x4. This purple beauty has all options available at the time and a few new ones. Straight axles in the front and rear, that both lock so all wheels turn in 4-wheel drive. Leaf springs all around, and 16 inch Alcoa aluminum wheels with BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A’s. Built in 5th wheel “Hide-a-Ball” plate and Curt Universal bars for camper hauling. Air bags on the rear axle with on-board compressor and gauge with switch for pumping up and deflating. Recently had the air conditioning and cruise control repaired as well. Leather seats from ’96 Dodge in front and rear, with flip up console in the front. 4 sets of seat belts in the rear seat, and storage underneath. Tinted power windows, new style rearview mirror with electrochromatic dimming, temperature, and compass. Also has a 12 disc changer, with great speakers. Has the most insulation possible in cab so it is quieter than most new pickups inside. Visor with clearance lights, and high powered lights under the rear bumper for backing up. Receiver hitch with 6 and 7 prong hookups for trailers, also has same hookups in the box for campers and gooseneck trailers. 400 cubic inch engine with 10:1 compression and a brand new 770 cfm Holley Street Avenger carburetor, and dual exhaust with headers. I recently replaced the transfer case with a rebuilt one. Whoever ends up with this one-of-a-kind beauty will not be even remotely disappointed. She pulls a camper like a dream, or is really just a fun all around driver. My family is getting bigger and I must sell it to buy a different vehicle to haul the children around in.
