Vehicle Detail

1964 Buick Riviera, Original numbers matching 425 engine, st400 trans, ps, pb, a/c, power windows and seat. Optional wood wheel. The car was painted with the House of Color Candy Tangerine. The bumpers have been rechromed and all the stainless trim polished. All the rubber weather stripping, door seals and window felt are from Steele Rubber products. It has Astro Supreme wheels and Vogue Tires. The seats have been re uphostered with leather inserts. Cars runs and drives good. I am relisting the car with a buy it now price. I am adding pics of the car before the redo. I have owned this car for 9 years, The engine runs smooth, doesn't leak oil or smoke, I was told and have no reason to belive that it had been rebuilt prior to my purchase, with that said, I don't have any specs or documentation on what was done when rebuilt, the trans doesn't leak and it shifts smoothly. The car was very solid when stripped for painting, it still retains all its original sheet metal, there was a small rust spot under the carpet on the passenger side, and a few bubbles on the right rear wheel well, everything else was rock soilid. The side chrome, and wheel well moulding was removed, the cr was lowered by cutting a coil from the front and rear springs. This gave the car a better profile but killed the ride. In short it sucks, I was going to replace the stock springs or air bag it. The underside of the car has never been detailed, therefore it has the underside of a "driver" car, with that being said there isn't any rust spot cover ups or cobbled up work. All in all its a good car, It still needs to be loved on or you can leave it as it is, start driving it, gets lots of attention and have fun. The paint alone cost more than the buy it now price. Good luck and happy bidding On Aug-01-12 at 10:52:31 PDT, seller added the following information: The buy it now price is $12,500. I am unsure what I have done to this listing or why it does not appear?
