Vehicle Detail
Work horse of a truck here, Oxford white clearcoat, 4 full door crew cab XLT, power windows, locks, mirrors. Rear sliding window, grey cloth interior in good shape for age, no tears in seats, carpet good. CD player with am/fm and cassette, stock 16" alloy wheels with 315/75/16 MTR Cooper tires, long bed with liner, bed mat, and fiberglass tanneau cover. Towing/trailer package with 4 flat and 7 round wire hook up. Has the indestructable 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel built by International. Has Bullydog 6 chip in it, K&N Airfilter, turbo-back aftermarket exhaust. This truck sounds like a 747 going down the road, but tastefully! Comes with Sno-Way Predator 7' lexam face snowplow, steel blade and frame. Also has Viper alarm with auto start (delay for glow plugs) and communicating remote to know it is locked, unlocked, and started with 1 mile radius!! Truck runs and drives excellent! Put a new trans in it (Ford trans done by Ford dealer) about 5K miles ago, new front 4x4 hubs, vaccum pumps, and all seals. Also new upper and lower ball joints about 2500 miles ago. Truck has 158,404 on it now. Sits in a garage and rarely gets used now. The needs: tires are at about 40% tread, rear leafs are broken (still drives ok, just can't haul anything crazy in the bed or on a trailer until fixed). Bed and bumper are damaged from backing into an oak tree while plowing, bed had a bit of rust in the wheel wells so was going to replace anyway. Take off beds at parts yards for around $1500 with tailgate and lights, bumpers are $150 for chrome aftermarket. Spring-a-lign in Palatine will install brand new springs for $800. My asking price takes all this into account considering these trucks go for 15K-17K on lots and private party without the extras and the plow. Its a beast of a truck and I hate to let it go, but I never drive it now due to travel and don't need such a heavy duty truck. As far as trades, I would be interested in a boat with trailer. I like ski boats and speed boats, open bow and thru hull exhaust a plus! Please contact me with serious questions and offers, great truck for a great price!! 847-778-9285
